Refunds and Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
At Around Big Cities, we meticulously plan our trips well in advance. To ensure the best experience, we pay our vendors (hotels, transport, guides) upfront. Because these costs are often non-refundable to us, our cancellation policy reflects these constraints.

2. Cancellation by the Participant
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing via email at aroundbigcities@gmail.com. The following cancellation charges apply based on the date we receive your written notice:

  • 0 to 15 Days before trip start: No Refund (100% cancellation charge).
  • 16 to 30 Days before trip start: 50% Refund of the total trip cost.
  • More than 30 Days before trip start: Full Refund, minus a 10% processing and administrative fee.
  • No Show: Failure to join the trip on the scheduled departure date/time will be treated as a No Show and no refund will be provided.
  • Mid-Trip Departure: If you leave a trip early for any reason, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the itinerary.

3. Cancellation by Around Big Cities

  • Operational Reasons: If we cancel a trip due to insufficient bookings or operational issues, you will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.
  • Force Majeure: If a trip is cancelled *before* departure due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or political unrest (Force Majeure), we may offer a Trip Credit for the full amount, valid for 1 year, instead of a cash refund, depending on our vendor policies at that time.

4. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Mode of Refund: Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment (Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI/Bank Transfer) used during booking.
  • Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 working days. However, it may take an additional 3-5 days for the amount to reflect in your bank account depending on your bank’s processing speed.

Around Big Cities reserves the right to charge listing fees for certain services, as well as transaction fees based on completed transactions made through the platform. Around Big Cities further reserves the right to revise, modify, or update any fees at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

The User agrees to pay all applicable charges, fees, duties, taxes, levies, and assessments associated with availing the services of Around Big Cities.

The User hereby consents, expresses, and agrees that they have read and fully understand the Privacy Policy of Around Big Cities in respect of the Website. The User further consents that the terms and contents of such Privacy Policy are acceptable to them.
